Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking a per diem registered nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care across the patient continuum. You will collaborate with physicians and the health-care team to ensure safe, effective delivery of care, document patient responses, and contribute to discharge planning and education.

The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program with BSN preferred, NH RN license, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reading/comprehension of anatomy and medical terminology.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and health-care team to ensure safe care.
• Document care and ensure patient safety and experience.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies per policy.
• Discharge planning and patient/family education.
