Job summary

Jackson Memorial Long-Term Care Center, a Jackson Health System facility in Miami, seeks a Clinical Staff Nurse for per diem, 8-hour shifts. The CSN will provide direct patient care, apply the nursing process, document care, and ensure HIPAA compliance within a CARE-model framework.

Requires 1–3 years of related nursing experience, an Associate's degree in Nursing, and Florida RN license. BLS and/or other Life Support certifications are required on hire and maintained throughout employment.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license is required.
• BLS and other life support certifications required upon hire with maintenance during employment.

Responsibilities

• Implements and coordinates the delivery of care with physicians and other staff.
• Uses the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Documents all nursing care, care plans and observations.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Performs rounds to ensure continuity of care.
• Mentors and directs LPNs, CNAs, and MAs as assigned.
