Job summary
FirstChoice – Trinity Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for Per Diem, part-time Med Surg/Tele assignments across the system. Flexible nights with a minimum of 24 hours every 4 weeks, plus travel and per diem opportunities, premium pay, and daily pay options.
Requires RN degree, valid state RN license, 18+ months Med Surg/Tele/PCU experience, and specialty certifications (ACLS/TNCC/PALS; BLS). You will float to multiple locations, applying the nursing process to assess, plan,
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid RN licensure in the applicable state(s).
- 18+ months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
- 2+ years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, ED and Behavioral Health.
- Credentials required per specialty area (ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS via American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Float throughout hospital and across locations/regions.
- Apply nursing process: Assess, Outcomes Identification, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
- Act independently within license and scope of practice.
- Maintain accountability for delegation and decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on quality and improvement.
