Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Klarman Eating Disorder Center in Belmont, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide immediate and long-term nursing care in a therapeutic setting. The RN role supports patients with eating disorders using a structured nursing process and adheres to regulatory standards.

The position is Per Diem with rotating shifts, located at the Klarman Eating Disorder Center, The McLean Hospital Corporation.

Qualifications

• Education: Other Certificate/Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: No experience required; one year of medical/psychiatric experience preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: RN State License required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assess patients’ needs.
• Utilize multiple data sources to determine health problems and functional status.
• Utilize Recovery Oriented Framework to identify patient strengths.
• Perform point of care testing.
• Communicate findings effectively to the healthcare team.
• Document patient responses to interventions.
• Identify and de-escalate crisis situations.
• Plan and modify nursing interventions for assigned patients.
• Participate in the development of the multidisciplinary treatment plan.
• Establish a therapeutic alliance with assigned patients.
