Job summary

The Neville Center at Fresh Pond in Cambridge, MA is seeking highly motivated per diem RN and LPNs to join our nursing department. A weekend shift is required at least once a month; PRN opportunities provide flexible scheduling and competitive hourly pay with shift differentials.

RNs earn $51/hour with potential to reach $57 with differential; LPNs earn $46/hour with potential to reach $50. Weekly pay, free onsite parking, and a supportive team under a Joint Commission‑accredited center.

Qualifications

• RN and LPN licensed per diem roles.
• Weekend shift required at least once a month.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident health needs and develop care plans in collaboration with the nursing team.
• Communicate plans to care providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Monitor effects of medications and treatments and provide feedback to the team.
• Use of the Electronic Health Record (PCC preferred).
• Lead nursing staff to deliver safe, effective care and provide resident education.
• Respect resident rights and maintain confidentiality and dignity.

The Neville Center at Fresh Pond is a Joint Commission, American Healthcare Association Award-winning, short-term rehab, long term, and skilled nursing care community. We are conveniently located on the Cambridge/Belmont line. We are dedicated to our residents and team members- come join us!

We are seeking highly motivated and qualified per diem (PRN) RN and LPN's to join our nursing department. A weekend, at least once a month shift required.

PRN Hourly Rate:

• RN: $51/hour, up to $57 with shift differential
• LPN: $46/hour, up to $50 with shift differential

As a Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Neville, some of your essential job responsibilities include:

• Assessing the health care needs of the resident, make a nursing diagnosis, transition this through collaboration with the nursing team into an interdisciplinary plan of care utilizing all resources available. Is able to communicate this plan to all care providers in a way that ensures continuity of care for residents.
• The ability to establish and maintain functional communications with staff, other disciplines, residents, families, medical staff and community.
• The knowledge to assess the effect of medications and treatments and monitor these effects to provide appropriate feedback to interdisciplinary team and medical managers to continuously provide the resident with the treatment appropriate to their individual needs.
• Use of the Electronic Health Record- PCC preferred.
• Lead and direct the nursing staff in the safe, effective delivery of care by providing a structure. Provide education to residents regarding their healthcare issues and care plan strategies.
• Knowledge and ability regarding Infection control, fire and disaster policies as well as other facility and/or state and federal policies and practices that provides a safe environment for residents, community and staff.
• Knowledge of and ability regarding the protection of resident rights, and the treatment of residents, staff and community with respect and dignity. Treating resident and facility property and information with honesty, confidentiality and respect.
