Qualifications

• Florida license for Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and BLS certification.
• Graduate of a two-year accredited respiratory care program.
• 1–2 years ICU/ABG drawing and analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Administers and coordinates prescribed respiratory therapy per patient needs.
• Prioritizes therapy based on patient acuity and charting results.
• Operates and monitors breathing treatments, oxygen, and related modalities.
• Performs ABG drawing and analysis; maintains accuracy in documentation.
• Assists with on-call coverage and critical care education as needed.
• Documents care in EMR and follows department policies.
