Job summary

Regency Hospital, part of Select Medical, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for per diem/PRN coverage in Indiana (Portage). The RT will evaluate patients, provide respiratory care, and participate in weaning and education.

Qualifications

• Must possess Active NBRC CRT or RRT credential (state equivalent acceptable).
• Proof of graduation: college diploma or HS diploma/GED.
• Current state licensure and BLS required; ACLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to critically ill patients.
• Perform insertion/removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
