CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for per diem varied shifts. The role involves operating respiratory equipment and delivering patient care across age groups in an acute care setting.

Candidates must graduate from an AMA/CoARC/JRCRTE approved program, hold RCBC license and NBRC RRT credentials, and possess BLS/ACLS/PALS. Two years in acute care is preferred; a LA County Fire & Safety Card and ARC are required within 30 days of hire.

Competenze

• Graduate from an AMA, CoARC or JRCRTE approved Respiratory Therapy program.
• Two (2) years experience in an acute care facility.
• Must possess excellent assessment skills to floor therapy and patients on mechanical ventilators.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Los Angeles County Fire & Safety Card (required within 30 days of hire)
• Assault Response Competency (ARC) (required within 30 days of hire)
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License from the RC B
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications are required from AHA
