Job summary

RiseWell Community Services in Brentwood, NY seeks compassionate Per-Diem Residential Counselors to join our Residential team. You will provide supportive counseling, restorative services, and crisis intervention to people with psychiatric disabilities in a transitional licensed residential program.

This is a per-diem role with flexible day and evening shifts; candidates must have a high school diploma (or BA in Human Services) and meet NYS Office of Mental Health requirements, including

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 1 year experience working with persons with psychiatric disabilities or a BA in Human Services.
• Clean NYS Driver’s License.
• Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health.
