The candidate will train graduate students and post-doctoral fellows, design and execute experiments, record data, and contribute to figures for publications. Collaboration and critical thinking are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical or Physical Sciences required.
• Minimum commitment of two years; position may not exceed three years.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Train graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in experimental design, technique and performance.
• Generate hypotheses and design and perform experiments to test them.
• Execute multiple experiments independently over time.
• Record all experimental findings in a lab notebook and analyze results.
• Suggests modifications to protocols based on results and test them.
• Prepare figures and diagrams for presentations and publications.
• Communicate results and collaborate with other professionals in the lab.
• Contribute intellectual input to project design and presenting findings at lab meetings.
• Read relevant literature and contribute to preparation of articles and grant proposals.
