Job summary

VIC the PICC (VTP) is seeking experienced PICC RNs with strong vascular access experience. Prior independent PICC insertion experience is required.

You will place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance, use ECG to confirm PICC tips, and help manage vascular access devices. The role includes educating facility staff on CVADs and related care.

Qualifications

• RN with current, active license
• 3+ years of acute care RN experience
• Experience placing PICCs, midlines, or other vascular access devices using ultrasound
• Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs)
• Experience in vascular access device (VAD) management, including care, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• American Heart BLS Certification
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Smart phone required
• Must LOVE vascular access

VIC the PICC ("VTP") is a specialized healthcare provider focused on vascular access consulting services to acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and home healthcare. Who We Are Looking For

We're seeking experienced PICC RNs with strong, recent vascular access experience. Prior independent PICC insertion experience is required. PICC certification training is not provided for this position.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and meet scheduling requirements as indicated by job classification
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care RN experience
• Must possess a smart phone
• Must LOVE vascular access

Schedule

• Per Diem: Minimum of four (4) scheduled shifts per month, with typical shifts approximately 8 hours. Availability to pick up additional shifts as needed. Weekend availability and participation in the holiday rotation are required.
• Currently hiring for a 1PM–9PM or 2PM-10PM schedule
• Consultants travel to customer facilities as assigned; scheduling requirements vary by job classification

Additional Requirements

• Must have a smartphone for scheduling and documentation
• Comfort working independently across varied clinical settings

Compensation Is Based On Candidate Experience And Relevant Certifications.

Hourly Pay Range

$65—$75 USD
