Job summary

Centurion is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to join Zephryhills Correctional Institution located in Zephryhills, Florida. The RN will provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.

The RN (Medical) is responsible for assessing and responding to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients, with duties

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Registered Nurse license required or ability to obtain one.
• Must be appropriately and actively CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope of practice.
• Assess, identify and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
• Collaborate with the DON, Nursing Supervisor and multidisciplinary team.
