Billings Clinic is seeking a Radiology Limited Permit Technician in Orthopedics on a per diem basis in Billings, MT. Under the direction of a radiologic technologist or radiologist, you will operate radiographic equipment, position patients, adjust exposure settings, and process images in line with department procedures.

The role requires current MT X-Ray Limited Permit Tech license, CPR certification, and an MT or WY X-Ray permit.

Qualificações

• Current Montana license as a X-Ray Limited Permit Tech.
• CPR Certification for Health Care Providers.
• Current Montana or Wyoming State X-Ray limited permit.

Responsabilidades

• Supports and models behaviors consistent with the mission and philosophy of Billings Clinic and department/service.
• Ensures radiological services provided are in compliance with standards established by the institution, state and according to limited permit statute.
• Performs non-complex procedures and radiographs using the department routine as ordered; exams checked by a registered radiologic technologist for critique and approval.
• Prepares the room, equipment and supplies for the examination and processes the radiographs.
• Prepares the patient for the examination, explains the procedure and positions the patient; adheres to radiation safety practices.
• May float to various departments, clinics and off-site facilities to fulfill staffing needs.
