Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s Kelsey-Seybold Clinic unit is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy with adherence to safety, quality and regulatory standards. You will rotate across radiology sites, document in RIS and PACS, and maintain equipment while delivering patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate is ARRT(R) eligible, MRT-General certified, and committed to ongoing education.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Eligible for ARRT (R) registry.
• Graduate Technologist designation as defined by the Texas Medical Board.
• ARRT(R) and MRT-General Certificate Status within one year of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiography including fluoroscopic studies per department policies.
• Maintains radiation safety and proper shielding per patient age and study.
• Documents using RIS/PACS for radiologist review and image quality notes.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; participates in QC measures.
• Engages in training and cross-site collaboration and stays current with licenses and CE requirements.
• Communicates effectively with patients, supervisors, radiologists and staff.
