Job summary

DISC Surgery Center in Marina Del Rey, CA is seeking a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist to perform fluoroscopic imaging in spine/orthopedic procedures. Responsibilities include evaluating radiographs, maintaining documentation, setting up and operating radiation equipment, and assisting physicians with imaging.

Candidates must hold ARRT (R) certification, fluoroscopy certification, a state Diagnostic Radiologic Technology license, BCLS, and have experience with C-arms in the OR; 3+ years

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required.
• Fluoroscopy certification required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required.
• BCLS certification or able to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Experience using C-arms in the OR preferred.
• 3+ years radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate radiographs for technical quality and store films according to center policy.
• Maintain documentation, reports, and files according to center policy.
• Calculate and regulate equipment using established technique, knowledge, and skill.
• Set up and operate radiation equipment in operating/procedure rooms.
• Assist physician with imaging procedures.
• Assist patients with pre and post-procedures according to center policy.
