Job summary

Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital in Presque Isle, Maine, seeks a per diem, BC/BE radiologist to join our outpatient practice. Diagnostic radiologists with interventional expertise are preferred; new grads are welcome to apply.

The role offers up to 6 weeks of coverage per year with 1- to 2-week assignments, no call duties, and flexible schedule options. It includes reading a full spectrum of radiology services with a mix of on-site and remote reading; interventional procedures are desired.

Qualifications

• BC/BE radiologist
• Two or more years of radiology experience preferred (interventional preferred)
• Per diem availability and flexibility required

Responsibilities

• Read a full spectrum of radiology services: general radiography, CT, MRI, mammography, nuclear medicine
• Collaborate with oncologists, surgeons, cardiologists, ENT, orthopedics, hospitalists and support staff
• Occasional interventional radiology procedures are desired
• Hybrid schedule with both on-site and remote reading

Position Highlights:

• Up to 6 weeks of coverage per year with potential for more; 1- to 2-week assignments available
• No call duties and flexible schedule options
• Responsibilities will include reading a full spectrum of radiology services:general radiography, CT, MRI, mammography, and nuclear medicine
• Work closely with medical oncologists, surgeons, cardiologists, ENT, orthopedics, 24/7 hospitalists, and a full team of ancillary support to deliver care
• Mix of on-site support and remote reading
• The ability to perform interventional radiology procedures is desired

Compensation Information:

• $340.00 - $415.00 hourly rate.
• The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position.The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.
