Qualifications

• Active Virginia Radiologic Technologist license.
• Current ARRT certification.
• BLS certification preferred.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold or T-SPOT test completed within the past year.
• Documentation of MMR and Varicella immunity through titers or vaccination records.
• A physical examination completed within the past year.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, privacy, and dignity throughout each procedure.
• Properly operate and maintain radiologic equipment.
• Follow radiation-safety standards and infection-control procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Accurately document procedures and patient information.
• Provide professional, compassionate care in a fast-paced acute-care environment.

Education

Virginia Radiologic Technologist license

ARRT certification

BLS certification

QuantiFERON-TB Gold or T-SPOT test

MMR and Varicella immunity proof

Physical examination within the past year
