Job summary

UNC Health Care in Boone, North Carolina seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Radiation Oncologist for per diem coverage at the Seby B. Jones Regional Cancer Center.

The role offers flexible scheduling within a collaborative oncology program and close collaboration with medical, surgical, and other specialty colleagues to deliver high-quality cancer care. The center provides comprehensive services including active SRS/SBRT, IMRT, and electron therapy, weekly tumor boards, and access to UNC

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered oncology care.

Responsibilities

• Provide per diem Radiation Oncology coverage at Seby B. Jones Regional Cancer Center.
• Collaborate with medical, surgical and other oncology colleagues to deliver patient-centered care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and clinical trial resources access.
