Job summary

Preftherapy is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Canton, MA, to join our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab team. The role supports comprehensive therapy services in collaboration with other rehab staff, with an emphasis on timely documentation and patient progress.

The position requires a current PTA license or eligibility to practice in Massachusetts, strong computer skills, and the ability to work well within a team.

Qualifications

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility.
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility to practice in Massachusetts.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills and experience with electronic documentation (Outlook/Word/Excel).
• Demonstrate attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
• Work well with others in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PTA services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility as part of the rehab team.
• Collaborate with other rehab therapists and nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patient progress in the EHR system.
• Join and participate in the local PRN rosters as needed.
