Job summary

Allegria Village in Dearborn is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team. You will provide direct patient treatment under a licensed PT and help residents achieve functional goals in a supportive, in-house care setting.

This flexible, as-needed role emphasizes teamwork, documentation, and continuity of care. Prior SNF experience and an active PTA license are preferred, with opportunities for professional growth on our campus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state license as a PTA in good standing.
• SNF experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient treatment under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in implementation and modification of treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress and changes in condition.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in exercises and safe mobility.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and treatment.
• Adhere to facility policies including safety and infection control.
• Communicate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care.
