Job summary

Silvis Center Rehab and Care in Silvis, Illinois, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a Per Diem position. As a PTA, you will assist in delivering patient-centered rehabilitation, including exercises, gait training, and balance activities, under the supervision of a licensed PT.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in the delivery of patient care, including exercises, therapies, and treatments
• Perform physical therapy procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist, including but not limited to gait training, balance exercises, and manual therapy
• Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions as directed by the physical Therapist
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment, progress, and outcomes
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
