Job summary

Bristol Glen in Newton, NJ is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for per diem shifts. You will implement treatment plans, guide exercises, and support residents on their rehab journey, with a guaranteed $40/hour rate.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in New Jersey is required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Minimum 2 years PTA experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans set by supervising PT for residents recovering from surgery, illness, or injury.
• Guide residents through therapeutic exercises to rebuild strength, balance, and mobility.
• Support residents with daily living activities as part of their rehab plan.
• Track and report progress to the supervising physical therapist.
• Encourage residents through sessions that are often physically and emotionally hard for them.
• Document each treatment accurately and on time, following state and facility requirements.
