Job summary

Preferred Therapy Solutions is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab team in Dexter, ME. The PTA will provide compassionate therapy services and work closely with other rehab therapists and nurses to support resident independence.

The ideal candidate holds a current ME PTA license or is license eligible, and demonstrates strong computer skills (Outlook/Word/Excel) with electronic documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible in ME.
• Strong computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel; experience with electronic documentation.
• Good attention to detail and timely documentation.
• Team player with flexibility in hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate PTA services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility.
• Collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing staff in a team-based environment.
• Maintain licensed PTA status and comply with state requirements; documentation in EMR.
• Demonstrate flexibility with hours and ability to work per diem shifts.
