Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem assignments across Chicago, Evanston, Highland Park and surrounding areas. The role supports acute care units with flexible day or night shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) and requires current Illinois RN licensure and CPR certification.

Per Diem Level 3 indicates 111-144 hours per 6-week schedule, offering premium pay and diverse clinical exposure. As a staff nurse, you will apply the nursing process, document thoroughly, guide and supervise

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and maintain Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR certification; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required per unit.
• Strong nursing assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to guide and supervise nursing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Maintain competency reflecting current standards of practice.
• Document thoroughly and timely; support patient and family education.
• Guide and supervise staff in patient care; ensure safety and ethical care delivery.
• Participate in professional development and quality improvement.
