Aya Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Pediatric ER Registered Nurse for immediate per diem shifts in Newark, NJ. The role involves caring for pediatric patients in the emergency department with a focus on rapid assessment, airway management and ongoing monitoring.

Certifications in PALS, BLS and ACLS are required, along with experience in pediatric dosages, IVs and rapid intervention. Per diem shifts offer flexibility and access to a credentialing specialist to streamline compliance.

We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: Pediatric ER Registered Nurse in Newark, NJ.

Requirements

• Required Certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS
• Required Skills: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, 2nd degree Burns, Abdominal pain, Airway obstruction, Anaphylactic Shock, Antiemetics, Aspiration, Bronchodilators, Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care/management, COVID, Croup, Febrile Seizures, Fractures/Casting, General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Glasgow Coma /Pediatric Trauma Scale, Head injury, Hypovolemic Shock, Infection Prevention, Insulin administration, Interpretation and communication of lab values, Interpretation of 12 Lead EKG, Interpretation of cardiac dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Leukemia, Lumbar puncture, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Managing violent behavior, Meningitis, Narcotics/Opioid Analgesics, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Oxygen administration, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Pediatric Emergency Department, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease/STD, Apply/ Manage Splints, Identify/Report neglect or abuse, Pulmonary embolism, Pneumonia, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Reactive Airway disease, Reporting acts of violence, Respiratory failure, Respiratory infection, Restraint Use, Seizures, Septic Shock, Sexual assault, Steroids, Suicidal patient, Testicular torsion, Triage, Urinary Tract Infection
