Job summary

Lions Rehab Center in Cumberland, Maryland, seeks a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility team. You will deliver direct physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed PT, helping residents recover and maintain function in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

The role requires graduation from an accredited PTA program and Maryland licensure; prior post-acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in Maryland.
• One (1) year experience in post-acute care or related setting preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans, provide patient education, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Follow PT-directed treatment plans for patients under supervision.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
