Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Daytona Beach is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) Per Diem to join our Daytona Beach, FL team. This PRN position supports weekend hours and emphasizes high-quality inpatient post-ICU rehabilitation.

You will supervise PT and PTA students and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust patient treatment plans, discharge planning, and education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment is required.

Responsibilities

• Performing initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
• Setting goals and developing treatment plans.
• supervising PT/PTA staff and students.
• Completing documentation in accordance with department policies.
