Job summary

The Shores in Ocean City, NJ, part of UMC (United Methodist Communities), seeks a per diem Physical Therapist to evaluate residents, design individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy to restore strength, mobility and independence.

You'll document evaluations, coordinate with nurses and families, and ensure compliance with New Jersey PT standards. Flexible daytime schedule, up to 40 hours weekly, weekends optional if desired.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Active New Jersey PT license.
• Prior experience treating adults in sub-acute and/or home care settings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and build individualized treatment plans.
• Provide hands on therapy to help residents regain strength, mobility, and independence.
• Document evaluations and progress so the care team stays aligned.
• Communicate resident progress with nurses, aides, and families when appropriate.
• Follow professional and regulatory standards for PT practice in New Jersey.

Education

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program

Active New Jersey PT license
