Job summary

Village Point, a Springpoint Senior Living Community, in Monroe Township, NJ, is seeking a Per-Diem Physical Therapist to assess, plan, organize, and administer rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, strength, and reduce pain.

Responsibilities include initial exams, designing individualized treatment plans, and documenting progress. Requires NJ PT license and a high school diploma; daily benefits offered. Pay rate is $57/hour with company benefits.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
• Current NJ Physical Therapist State License.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document an initial exam with data to identify problems and diagnosis.
• Plan and carry out individually designed physical therapy programs to improve function and relieve pain.
• Record prognosis, treatment, response, and progress in patient charts or computer system.
• Identify goals, progress, and plans for reevaluation.
• Administer manual exercises, massage, or traction to relieve pain and improve strength.
• Test and measure strength, function, and respiration; record data.
• Instruct patient and family on home treatment procedures.
• Consult with patient, physicians, or others to plan and assess the intervention program.
• Review physician referrals and medical records to determine required therapy.
