Qualifications

• Must have an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• New Jersey PTA licensure required.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists with patient evaluations, treatment plans and progress reports.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans, including exercises, modalities and other interventions.
• Provide manual therapy techniques, such as massage and soft tissue mobilization.
• Conduct patient assessments and identify areas of improvement.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and progress.
