  • Phlebotomy license required (CA CPT).
  • 6–12 months experience or completion of Palomar Health Lab Extern program.
  • Ability to perform 12-lead ECGs across age groups.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications and able to read/write English.

Responsibilities

  • Draws blood specimens by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
  • Labels and processes specimens for testing.
  • Maintains, restocks, and manages lab supplies.
  • Performs 12-lead and 15-lead ECGs and participates in ECG training.
  • Assists in training and orienting new employees and communicates professionally.
