Southern Regional Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist in the daily operation of the hospital pharmacy. The role is per diem with variable shifts, requiring accuracy in medication preparation and dispensing while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Eligible candidates typically hold a high school diploma, current pharmacy technician license/registration, and ASHP-accredited training; 340B exposure and PTCB/NHA certification within six months are preferred.

Formación

• State license/registration as a Pharmacy Technician (as required by state).
• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Graduate of ASHP-accredited or equivalent training program preferred.
• 340B program experience preferred (if at a 340B facility).
• Pharmacy tech certification (PTCB or NHA) within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assists the Pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations.
• Prepare and dispense medications under supervision.
• Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements.
• Support 340B program activities when applicable.
