Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
• Current PTCB certificate.
• Current registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Pass a math test pertinent to retail pharmacy activities.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and obtaining patient info.
• Maintain stock levels and proper stocking safety.
• Document daily and monthly activity checklists and inventory.
• Counsel patients and ensure confidentiality.
• Handle cash transactions and reconcile prescriptions with billing.
• Support central fill processes and large-volume dispensing.
