Responsibilities

• Weighs, counts, measures, and mixes medication.
• Handles inventory to ensure the pharmacy is stocked.
• Receives prescriptions, fills/refills, and verifies information.
• Answers phones and responds to questions or requests.
• Labels bottles and maintains and updates patient profiles.
• Assists customers by answering questions and locating items.
• Transfers medication using aseptic techniques when needed.
• Supports robotic dispensing systems and inventory control.
• Prepares insurance claim forms and maintains records.
• Adheres to policies and safeguards university assets.
• Performs additional duties as needed.
