Job description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician to support retail and community pharmacy operations within a health center setting. The role plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate dispensing and excellent customer service to patients.

Location

Clovis, CA

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Start Date: ASAP Duration: 4-6 weeks with potential for contract to hire, especially for Spanish-speaking candidates

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in a retail pharmacy environment
• Assist pharmacists with daily tasks and manage inventory using Rx30 system
• Provide excellent patient service and support in a community health center setting
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy technician experience required
• Proficiency with the Rx30 pharmacy system preferred
• Spanish language skills are highly desirable and will be given preferential consideration, though not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support a diverse patient population
