Mass General Brigham is seeking a Per-Diem Pharmacist to optimize drug therapy, identify and resolve drug-related problems, and improve patient outcomes. May involve prescribing under CDTM agreements, in compliance with state and federal regulations.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, drug information, and collaboration with the healthcare team in a dynamic, nonprofit hospital system.

Formación

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
• Experience as a pharmacist preferred (2–3 years).
• Knowledge of IV admixtures, drug information, ambulatory care, manufacturing, and distribution.

Responsabilidades

• Directs and coordinates the activities and delivery of pharmacy services.
• Supervises and verifies the accuracy of all work completed by support personnel during a shift.
• Operates within the limits of pharmacy policy and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with target drug programs, formulary management, and adverse drug event monitoring programs.
• Documents and reports clinical interventions and medication errors.
• Participates in department quality improvement efforts.
• Follows all laws and regulations set forth by the Board of Pharmacy and other agencies.
