Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum, is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Delivery Driver in Spokane, WA. You will support the Genoa mental health pharmacy, dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under a Pharmacist's supervision.

Hours are 8:00am–8:00pm PST, Monday–Sunday as needed. The role requires a high school diploma, license eligibility, map reading, and reliable transportation. Local driver’s license with a clean record is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain Pharmacy Assistant License within 60 days of employment with company assistance.
• Ability to read and follow maps and directions to customer locations.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery routes
• Provide timely and accurate completion of deliveries in an efficient and courteous manner
• Verify receipt and provide signature for receipt of items delivered
• Process any required paperwork according to established procedures
• Vehicle maintenance
• Return attempted deliveries to pharmacy according to pharmacy policies
• Various other duties may be assigned

We seek a Per Diem Pharmacy Delivery Driver

to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions, and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Hours:

Monday-Sunday, 8:00am to 8:00pm PST as needed

Primary Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience as a company courier/driver

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $25.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
