Job summary

Nuvem Rx Pharmacy Management Team is seeking a compassionate pharmacist to manage day-to-day operations and provide overlap with the pharmacy manager at the Champaign/FQHC site. As a per-diem pharmacist you will engage with clinic staff, educate patients on medications, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

You will lead pharmacy operations, oversee staff where applicable, maintain HIPAA compliance, and support quality patient care through collaboration with the healthcare team,

Qualifications

• Provide support and education to patients on their medications.
• Manage staff pharmacist and technicians, if applicable, and address knowledge gaps through education and training.
• Oversee pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and fraud, waste and abuse credentialing where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and education to patients on their medications.
• Management of staff pharmacist and technicians, if applicable.
• Pharmacy operational management and oversight: Patient Safety, Regulatory Requirements, Quality Assurance.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local laws and facility policies.
• Oversee inventory management and financial profitability.
