Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in Westminster, MD, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to join our coordinated care team. You will perform professional duties related to processing prescriptions, provide drug information to customers, and support immunizations where allowed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in the state of Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
