Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is hiring a Per Diem Float Pharmacist to support on-site pharmacies across Bristol TN, Johnson City, Kingsport, Greeneville TN and Abingdon VA. The role requires Tennessee license and Virginia license or willingness to obtain within 3 months, plus immunizer certification.

Responsibilities include dispensing medications, informing customers, providing high-quality service, and complying with state boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Active pharmacist license in Tennessee.
• Active pharmacist license in Virginia or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
