RXinsider LTD. is seeking a compassionate per-diem pharmacist for an FQHC in Baltimore, Maryland. The role focuses on managing pharmacy operations in collaboration with the pharmacy manager, empowering you to lead patient care and staff in delivering safe, effective medications.

You will engage with clinic providers, educate patients about their prescriptions, ensure regulatory compliance and HIPAA adherence, and participate in clinical meetings as part of the patient care team.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in Maryland with leadership experience.
• Experience engaging with clinic providers and clinical staff.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and fraud, waste and abuse credentialing.
• Ability to educate patients on medications and provide patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and education to patients on their medications.
• Management of staff pharmacist and technicians, if applicable; address knowledge gaps by education and training.
• Pharmacy operational management and oversight including Patient Safety, Regulatory Requirements, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, and Personnel Management.
• Lead pharmacy staff to achieve specific goals and promote a caring, enthusiastic team culture.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local laws and with local facility policies.

Job description

Nuvem Rx Pharmacy Management Team is looking for a compassionate, patient centric pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations by covering or providing overlap for the current pharmacy manager. Our goal is to make you feel empowered in the role that you play when managing the pharmacy and personnel in conjunction with the pharmacy manager. This position is for a per-dem pharmacist for the pharmacy located within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Baltimore , Maryland.

As a per-diem pharmacist for our pharmacies located within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC); you will receive the benefit of a retail pharmacy type setting with a Monday thru Friday potential schedule. As the per-dem pharmacist, you will be responsible in managing our pharmacy relationship with our health center client. This includes engaging with clinic providers and their clinical staff, providing drug related education, acting as a member of the patient care team, and attendance of clinical meetings.
