Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties including processing prescriptions at our Kansas pharmacies. This temporary role covers PTO and leave, with shifts on weekdays at multiple locations.

Requirements include a PharmD or BA in Pharmacy, Kansas pharmacist license, willingness to complete LAI training, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.

• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.

We seek a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. Per Diem Pharmacists are classified as temporary employees and work on an intermittent basis.

Our pharmacies are Monday-Friday and will include an 8 hours shift between 8:00 - 5:30, with a 30 minutes lunch.

This position will cover PTO and any leave of absences at the following pharmacy locations:

Primary Pharmacies:

• 8911 East Centennial Drive, Pittsburg, KS

• 3354 US-160, Independence, KS

Potentially help in:

• 1600 N Lorraine St. Suite 100, Hutchinson, KS
• 9415 E. Harry St. Bldg. 800 STE P, Wichita, KS

Primary Responsibilities:

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications:

• BA or PharmD in Pharmacy
• Current pharmacist license in state of Kansas
• Willing to complete LAI Training and administer LAI
• Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation

• Retail Experience
• Long Term Care/Assisted Living experience
• Behavior or Mental Health experience
