Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for per diem weekend rotations at our New York, NY campuses. You will join a large, multidisciplinary pharmacy team delivering patient-focused pharmaceutical care on weekends, contributing to high standards of safety and quality.

Qualified candidates hold a PharmD, current NYS Pharmacist license, and excel in communication and collaboration with clinical teams.

• PharmD degree required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to instill trust, drive engagement and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered pharmaceutical care as part of the clinical team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy.
• Maintain licensure, ensure regulatory compliance and contribute to medication safety initiatives.

Preferred Criteria

• 1 year of experience in a hospital or infusion pharmacy
