Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, a pharmacy care services company within Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to support multiple Houston area pharmacies, including Conroe and Katy. The role covers PTO and Leave in various locations and offers hourly pay based on local markets.

Responsibilities include dispensing prescriptions, counseling customers, administering immunizations where allowed, ensuring state compliance, and delivering a high level of service within a collaborative care

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with current license in the state of employment.
• Willing to complete LAI Training and administer LAI.

We seek a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. Per Diem Pharmacists are classified as temporary employees and work on an intermittent basis.

Our pharmacies are Monday-Friday, 8:00 - 5:00.

This position will cover PTO and Leave in any of our pharmacies in the Houston (Katy, Conroe, Pearland, Texas city, Beaumont) and East Texas area (Longview, Lufkin, Tyler).

Primary Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

• BA or PharmD in Pharmacy
• Current pharmacist license in state of which you will works

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44 - $79 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
