Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Monmouth, NJ is seeking a Per Diem PET/CT Technologist to support our radiology team. The role involves performing PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging, CT and limited X‑ray exams, and safely preparing radiopharmaceuticals in a high‑quality clinical setting.

You will ensure precise patient positioning, document dose records, and adhere to radiation safety standards while collaborating with physicians.

Qualifications

  • Diploma from NMTCB or ARRT(N) JCERT-approved radiology program.
  • ARRT(N) or CNMT certification.
  • CT Certification is required.
  • NJS license is required.
  • Dual license in PET and CT is preferred.
  • ARRT(R) radiography certification is preferred.
  • GE PET/CT experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging following MSK protocols.
  • Conduct diagnostic CT and limited X‑ray exams as needed.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely.
  • Ensure high‑quality images and proper patient positioning.
  • Monitor patients and communicate effectively with physicians.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, dose records, and QC logs.
  • Follow all radiation safety and infection control standards.

We are seeking a Per Diem PET/CT Technologist at MSK Monmouth. Role Overview:
  • Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging following MSK protocols.

Key Qualifications:
  • Requires diploma from a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or Radiological program ARRT(N) approved by JCERT.
  • ARRT(N) or CNMT Certification
  • CT Certification required.
  • NJS License required.
  • Dual License (RT) in PET and CT Preferred.
  • Graduate of approved radiography program (ARRT (R)) Preferred.
  • GE PET/CT Experience a plus.

Additional Information:
  • Schedule: Saturdays flexed hours between 8am – 6pm and additional shifts during week, including holidays, as needed (Per Diem),
  • Location: MSK Monmouth, 480 Red Hill Rd, Middletown Township, NJ.
  • Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Regional Radiology
Pay Rate:

$81/hr

$75/hr without X-Ray

Plus 10% shift differential for Weekends.
