Job summary

Cardiac Study Center, in partnership with Pulse Heart Institute, offers a per diem Medical Assistant role in an outpatient cardiology clinic in Enterprise, OR. This position supports providers, coordinates patient flow, performs clinical tasks, and ensures smooth clinic operations during weekday daytime hours.

You will administer injections, record vitals, prepare exam rooms, and help with exams and treatments.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Active Washington State Medical Assistant Certification (required upon hire).
• Strong communication and patient care skills; ability to work efficiently in a team-based clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and coordinate patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Record medical histories, vital signs, and other clinical information.
• Assist providers during exams and treatments.
• Administer injections and collect specimens as needed.
• Prepare exam rooms and clean medical instruments between patients.
• Maintain and restock medical supplies.
• Support efficient patient scheduling and clinic workflow.
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA standards at all times.
