Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC in Glendale, CA seeks an Occupational Therapist for per diem 8-hour day shifts (non-union). You will provide occupational therapy services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, evaluate need, and document care under supervision of the OT Coordinator.

Applicants must hold a CA OT license or CBOT permit (≤90 days post-hire), NBCOT certification, and BLS. After one year, you may serve as a clinical instructor for Level I/II OT interns.

Qualifications

• CA licensed OT or CBOT permit ≤ 90 days post-hire.
• NBCOT certification is required.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services and direct patient care per plan.
• Document patient care and participate in team meetings.
• Delegate duties to support personnel; supervise interns after year one.
• Maintain productivity and participate in performance improvement activities.
