Job summary

East Liverpool City Hospital in Ohio is seeking an Operating Room Tech on a per diem basis for day shifts. You will assist in preparing sterile supplies, maintain sterile fields, and hand instruments to the surgeon during procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ORT training or on-the-job training with at least 3 years of surgical experience, and a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience (surgical setting preferred).
• Experience scrubbing minor and major procedures in generalized surgical specialties (GYN, General, Plastics).
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure.
• Maintain sterile field during cases.
• Provide surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during procedures.
