Job summary

Northwest Eyes is a progressive ophthalmic medical and surgical practice seeking a Per Diem Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. You will assist physicians with ophthalmic testing, document accurately, and help maintain patient flow.

We offer training and value teamwork, clear communication, and patient-centered care in a busy clinical setting. Responsibilities include performing exams, operating equipment, and ensuring complete records while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Open and close exam lanes and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Communicate patient flow with the team to keep schedules on time.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and waiting area.
• Complete documents such as consent forms, work releases, etc.
• Take patients' medical histories and perform ophthalmic diagnostic exams.
• Operate ophthalmic equipment.
• Sterilize instruments to maintain ophthalmic instruments/equipment.
• Instruct patients in eye care and treatment.
