Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five or more years of ophthalmic technician experience preferred.
• COA certification from JCAHPO or working toward certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• All Patient Correspondence including but not limited to: Disability Forms, Patient Education, Surgical Consent Forms.
• Slit Lamp Examinations.
• Completes Medical History, Lensometry, Auto Refracting, Pam Testing, Glare Testing.
• Performs all aspects of visual acuity testing and Visual Field Testing.
